A lovely Italian family run hotel situated in the mountain resort of madesimo. Would definitely go back for a ski base.

"Most likely in the top 3 of the keyboards, although to reach it you have to climb some other countries because the Crotto del Fuin is located in Pioro, right in the substanze of the Falls, a place now become very famous and frequented. The problem of that area is that by now all parking spaces have been paid from 1 April to 15 October, but the Fuin Crotto offers a fully reserved parking space at the discreetly large restaurant where there will be fifteen minutes drive. Great food and portions (in my case for 2 people) abundant. 4 fixed menus to choose from including 1 vegetarian, option mixed and divided cheeses. Super friendly and friendly staff and very fast in the spectacular localization service: halfway between the mountain rock and the trees with the sound of the falls in the background. Internal restaurant built in stone and a large living room to hold other tables, the outside instead a mezzanine with a dozen tables and a kitten called Tigre who keeps company to guests. Nice."

"Our final night in Switzerland thought we would have Fondue. Two types on the menu but only one available and that turned out to be 27 Francs each. The first place we have been to where we were charged for water and they had bottled it themselves with a label 7 Swiss Francs! The service was ordinary and the place was overpriced."

"The rooms of the hotel have been recently renovated and are very comfortable, excellent soundproofing, shower with good shower, very comfortable mattress. I personally booked a single and the score was definitely higher than average. breakfast is quite varied and good. friendly welcome."

"This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Went there with a party of 9 and we were all very well served. The restaurant is by the road on the way from Chiavenna to Milano (or others cities on the way . It doesn't have a lot of advertisement, but it is pretty big on the inside. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I think it is a restaurant typically frequented by Italians, although the staff knew how to speak English. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS! I had the herb tagliata and I don't regret it. Delicious and perfect are the words to describe it. Other people on my table ordered manzo, risotto, pizza, spaghetti and everyone just loved it. One of the best meals I have ever had. We liked it so much we think we are passing by to eat one more time :"
