We are there when they opened and the owner was very nice and friendly. When our food came out, she explained what was all and was super nice and passionate about it. Not to mention that everything was delicious. I got the sampler plated that was good, but I wish I had a normal entree with one side as all the appetizers consisted of fried dough. What User doesn't like about La Taguara:
Decent Latin restaurant. Young but friendly staff. It seems like the majority of the items are deep fried so I was I bit overloaded (gutbomb). The guasacaca sauce was great! The areas are delicious, though too much cheese to meat/ bean ratio. Lastly... it is a bit pricey for take out food View all feedback.

I am so impressed by this place! The employees were pleasant, the food was amazing! Like, wow fantastic! Stop in here if you're ever in the Madison area. I'm so glad we did!
