On Thursday at 5. we took place outside on the terrace. You have one of your traditional burgers and then of course some that are “outside the box” to jump, but sound interesting and good. But I can only eat one and I had the Kentucky Bourbon classic. It was delicious and the service was in place with the good food. We're not from Madison, but I'd certainly stop when we were, or if we happened to be back in the area. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mr. Brew's Taphouse:
This place is a good place to go if you want to try a bunch of beers at a moderate markup. This is not a good place to go for food. Got a burger, fries, and my partner got a burger and chips. We got cheese curds to share. Not only was the portion of cheese curds small but they were overcooked. Over half were just breading, the cheese cooked out into the fryer. It's my first time in this place! OMG the best Kentucky bacon burgués EVEEERRR, perfect French Pommes, and Eprika (Sorry is not properly written) it is sooo sweet and also they get an amazing customer service!
Had a group of 10 that showed up the night before a family wedding, we were treated like one of the family. Waiter waitresses were prompt, funny, friendly gave great recommendations. The food was excellent - from the cranberry salad to the Kentucky Bourbon Burger. Job well done!!!
That's the second I was here and it was both great. They have several varieties of beer on tap, cidars and pop. The appetizers were good (we did wings, onion rings, cheese curds) and we did a burger the last time and we would definitely do it again. The patio is beautiful during the Wisconsin summer.
First visit....and I definitely recommend! Food was fast and delicious, and the service was on point. General manager even had small talk with us to include a free drink on our next return. Location is small but we went during down time so it was nice and cozy. Will be returning! Recommend the bone in wings and cheese curds!
