Contribute FeedbackThe Madison Blind restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some diners were disappointed with the food and service quality, mentioning issues such as overcooked dishes, small portions, and lack of attention from the server. Others praised the delicious food, friendly staff, and beautiful views of the lake and Capitol building. While some had concerns about the noise level and pricing of the menu, others enjoyed the variety of options available, including gluten and dairy-free choices. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential but could benefit from improvements in consistency and attention to detail.
I had the worst experience! the waiter tipped my fires all over the table and sat there for four hours for all three courses in the restaurant week. they also ran out of the food.
We are here for madison's restaurant week. eating was very good and the cocktails were even better. we sat outside on the roof terrace and had a nice view of the city. in the inner it looked as though one could also look at the sea. the service was terrible. they did not even have the menu items for the restaurant weekly menu. we ordered drinks immediately and did not get them for 15 minutes. the entire culinary experience lasted just 2 hours. I don't blame the waiter, but the service was annoying. Luckily we were in no hurry and had a very nice evening to light up the capital.
Some competitors met here after the lessons on a conference. very attentive and friendly waiter! views of the lake and the capital are really nice and a relaxing ambiente. the foods and cocktails were in order, but very overpriced for the appetizer size, and the alcohol content in my two drinks was quite economical. but a pleasant evening and would recommend.
We went to blind with great expectations, but we were very disappointed. we started with a order of two bottled beer. the beer was served in the bottles without glasses, ok stand at a reasonable bar, but not what you expected to be on what had been well maintained to be a beautiful restaurant. we asked for glasses when the beer was served and until their arrival were quite thirsty. the pork ribs were hard and nibble with little flesh. we ordered a side of the $7... the half of the price of the ribs as the ribs that were served in a small bowl without additional sides. the spatula was hard and strict. the trout of my wife was quite tasty, but a tad overcooked. unfortunately they were from the Rhabarb sauce. the service was unimaginable. our server has never returned to check us or see how our meal was. I would suggest another plate for the rib bones and the fish skin.
Our server Hannah was fantastic! I have food allergies that are a pain when we go out to eat. Hannah took notes and asked the chef about each dish we were thinking about ordering. The food was excellent, especially the freekah salad. Dessert was amazing!! We ordered the brownie with caramel ice cream and were not disappointed. We highly recommend this amazing rooftop restaurant to anyone. Thanks to the restaurant and Hannah for making our anniversary date a great experience.
