One reviewer mentioned a delicious Italian sausage sandwich and another enjoyed the Jambalaya and Key Lime Pie on Fat Tuesday. The atmosphere is described as friendly and quintessentially Wisconsin. While some found the beer selection lacking, others appreciated the local sports memorabilia and lively atmosphere. Overall, the highlight seems to be the fish fry, with light and crispy breading and perfectly cooked fish. Customers recommend going early as it fills up quickly. With a warm and welcoming staff, this restaurant is worth a try for those looking for a classic bar experience.
Hands down best fish fry in madison. go there early if you want to wait too much. they can enjoy drinks and popcorn while waiting. friendly staff, good music. does not look like much, but the person has the best fish and coleslaw around!

I will not make it to eat here, because I like other places better, but I will meet others here for the fish frit if they want...read more
Great walleye and Cod dinner last night. they even have the best collegiate in the city that was made in the house that I understand. will be back.
The chicken sandwich was good, but not exceptional. the side of the chips could have been better. jm’s international sandwich caught his eye because he hadn’t seen anything like that. it turned out that it was Italian sausage on Italian brot (maybe it was french brot) with fried bunny, cheese, paprika on the side and marinara to dive. once the paprika were involved, that sandwich really hit his track.
