What Jarvis Stoltenberg doesn't like about Wilson's Bar:
I used to be regular at this bar for Sunday football and brunch. We had a bad experience 10 years ago where regulars were given peferential treatment, our friends got kicked our for calling them on it, and haven 't been there since, until today. Beautiful east side bar. big beer prices 1.00 less for a capital on tap vs. the west side (middleton,) many tvs to see sport, large open bar area.
Fun Spot! Great food and service. Divey bar feeling. There are also slots to play. Good beer selection, too.
Comfortable, relaxing, gentle environment. I've been going to Wilson for 30 years and never had a bad time.
Great place to see a game. It's pretty crowded at weekends when I'm gone. Food is good and quite cheap for what you get. My only complaint is that they charge an additional fee to use your credit card that only one of my pet Peeves either take cards or not, but do not pay me your fee. You don't pay my credit card fee or my gas to get there. I'd rather increase prices. Unfortunately, the servers are those that are hit on whether they should or not. But, soap box....still a great place and friendly staff.
