If you cannot make it to Bilbao to experience the delights of Basque Haut Cuisine, by all means go to Ainhoa where they probably serve the best basque food in Madrid. We had the hake, the flounder, and the sole, all of them were first rate. Tour surprise, the chocolate musse was insuperable! we will return to Ainhoa ever time we visit Madrid! View all feedback.

Easy to find. Good interior illumination. Interesting starters, as red roasted peppers, vegetables or anchovies in salt. Very limited fishes (hake, anglerfish and cod), turbot, tuna, bass, bream or just cuttlefish were simply not available in the menu!!!. Incredibly bad this lack of product for an apparent quite good Basque restaurant. We ask for anglerfish, a little dry and cold. Disappointing texture and flavour. Q... View all feedback.
