If you are visiting Madrid and want to drink and eat with the locals eating simple Spanish food then look no further. Order drinks and the tapas will follow with a smile from Pablo behind the bar.Our Spanish was not very good and his English...no better but after a few visits we were treated like a local.Thanks Pablo and all the staff for making our stay in Madrid memorable. Called here twice not grand not plush but such good value and so interesting. Small portion of food accompanies every drink and staff polite. Spanish people came for takeaway meals too. Great ham of every description and good selection of basic bar meals. Restaurant...upstairs which we did not visit. View all feedback.

read morejust a good lunch. do not expect high quality food or service. with so many options close to them can definitely be better.
