"We popped in for an early dinner and were extremely happy with the excellent service and delicious, simple, good-value meal. We dont speak a word of spanish, yet the bar staff were very accommodating and tried to translate the menu to english for us. The place is an authentic Spanish bar that serves tapas and other dishes. We had a beef burger and 'carne con salsa ' (which was very similar to pulled-pork if you are from Melbourne AUS). One of the most simply yet delicious meals we have had during our 10 days in Barcelona/Marbella/Madrid. If you are staying in the area it is definitely worth trying."

"Decided we needed a spot of lunch and stopped here- There are two La Bodeguita one at Plaza Don Vincente Figueroa [this one] and another at Calle Plus Ultra [very similar menu but a bit more expensive]. We decided on a light lunch rather than the less expensive menu del dia. So one had the duck salad- delicious and I had the Migas [a regional variation] for 10 euro. it was tasty but a huge amount and far too much to finish. The wine was excellent and not over priced. Service was average but acceptable. The bar for tapa might have been a better/ less formal place to have a drink/ food. Glad I had the midges- have been wanting to try it for a while [but once is enough for me]"
