All reviews for Swiss Country House from all websites. The restaurant offers good food (2.3 stars) and is one of the best restaurants in Magnetawan.

the restaurant overlooks a pretty lake and marina as the sun set it was breathtakingly beautiful.

we have not been in some yearsalways loved the schnitzel.

we didn’t end up eating herethe hostess told us it would be a 25 minute waitafter waiting awhile, we asked if there was a bar we could sit at.

"Great food, great atmosphere. The all you can eat Pickerel is outstanding, amazing schnitzel and the best tasting veggies eve, crisp, crunchy and packed with fresh taste. Wonderful food!"

"Friendly service, good food and good selection, at least 4 different meats to choose from on the buffet, reasonably priced. The lay-out of the tables for a group was a bit tight trying to maneuver around but was manageable. Will definitely go back and would recommend for a nice dining experience."

"We boated in as a group of four last night for what we thought would be a memorable evening. The place looks great and all service was highly professional. The wine and cocktails were wonderful and the menu tantalizing. Two of us order their Beef Rosti. One was quite acceptable. The other was at least half gristle. Not a good thing when a comparison was so evident. I soldiered on but when ask how it was I had to be honest. Admirabley, they docked the offending me all from the bill but I still wonder how two of the same dish to the same table could be so different. Sorry, just not up to scratch for those prices."

"This Golf Course is a must play. I recommend phoning the pro shop and booking the Golf & Dine deal for about $100. You will love the look of the incredible wooden clubhouse and restaurant. I would become a member if it was closer to our cottage. You feel like you are pampered. Our friends rave about our yearly Golf Buddy visit. We also take our wives there to fine dine. They do everything just right. Oh yes... and the course is always in excellent condition. These guys set the bar high and the price is right! Register your email and they will offer you deals."

"It's a Monday! Quiet Bay Café is OPEN!!! ... the food is amazing, it's homemade, it's fresh, and it's a happy place! It isn't poured out of a box into a fryer! .... I am low carber, I truly enjoyed the double banquet burger no bun) with a side salad... and I received my lunch, just the way I asked for it! My friend enjoyed the all day breakfast, REAL homefries, quality bacon and sausage and no up charge for rye toast! It was perfect! Thank you, we needed this in our area! See you soon!"

"Excellent eating, cozy atmosphere, prices are reasonable, quality and quantity are good. loves the homemade tartaric acid sauce for the fish. wants the recipe for it. schnitzel is excellent and also fish! I would go every day if I could!"
