Driving past Magnolia, MS on I-55 we took this 3 minute detour south and found this charming, unpretentious place just on the other side of the tracks. It was Saturday and the “open” sign was alit even though the hours stated they were closed on Sat so we gave VernoLa a try. Well, what a pleasant surprise. The decor is eclectic Veracruzan with a touch of New Otleans and reflected the owner/hostess/chef’s family life.... View all feedback.

She was appropriately engaging and entertaining while at the same time providing us with some of the best enchiladas(beef for my husband and chicken for myself) with mole sauce. I would definitely return!
