"Went in for an egg sandwich before 130pm and was told the grill is closed. Second time in a row that has happened. Previous time they were out of rolls. That's 3 times I wanted to spend my money here and could not. Waste of time. Not coming back. ."

"Came here for early dinner on a Saturday, the staff was attentive, food came quick to our table and it was very delicious! We ordered the grilled calamari, chicken gyro and had some amazing cinnamon dusted baklava for dessert. Would recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I love the decor at the Freight House. They have outdoor seating but we came on a Sunday on a soggy weather so we were not able to enjoy our meals outside. Coffee is self served and they offer different flavors. Freight House Coffee is strong and welove it that way. Just the flavorful toasted taste Without the burnt taste. If you are dining in, mugs are available. If youwant coffee to be served piping hot like we do, just asked them to zap it and they would gladly do it for you. Menu isprovided to you once seated and once you know what to order, you go upfront and placed them. The dishes will be served whenready. If you are familiar with 9W market, the set up is similar however Freight house is cozier. On a Sunday , aroundnoon, a guitarist started to perform inside. Being seated inside, the sound system didn 't work for our sensitive ears ... lol ,the music played was good though. If seated outside, would be perfect. Now onto to our breakfast orders: Putnam delicious. For next time, we will request the maple syrup on the side because it was too much for our liking. Mushroom toast delicious. I would request kale cooked well for next visit as I want my kale well cooked . French toast very good I woulddefinitely be back ! Staff are very accommodating, male and female!"

"We were 9 people and only there for 2 hours and 10 min. when the waiter came and asked us to leave because they needed the table . They did the same to another table of four . In all my years of dinning out that was a first. In the restaurant business that is the worst thing that you can do. Also, one of my family members who could not attend the dinner called the restaurant and sent over a drink for each of us . The waitress said it was an after dinner drink on the house. That is even worse than asking us to leave . Two reasons why I will never go back to that place and will tell all of my friends ."

"The food was great! We ordered pick up. They forgot my sister's garlic chicken which was the first order I placed but was not charged. Luckily we ordered a lot of food. The bubble teas were yummy just way more sweet than I'm used to.Parking: Limited number of spots"

"Went last night for a Valentine 's Day dinner and everything was excellent. Our server, Jessica, was very professional, personable and courteous. The rest of the staff was attentive and their service was timely. The food itself was phenomenal. To start, I tried the beef carpaccio and my wife had the lobster bisque, which both were delicious. For the main course, we shared the surf-n-turf for two. One of my tests for a good steakhouse is how well they cook a filet mignon, and Char, needless to say, passed with flying colors. It was seasoned and cooked *perfectly*. From top to bottom, everything was enjoyable, and we would definitely recommend as well as go back again!"

"Bad service at the bar. not very busy and even with 2 barkeepers, our ordering and review were not correct. very disappointed, especially because we often come. not appreciate feeling ignored by bar staff who were busy making bowls and chatting together instead of checking on customers. that will be our last visit for a past. we find another place to spend our money."
