"I was really pleased to have joined one of Rafael’s wine tasting sessions whilst in Porto. Having done many, this was a very special experience. With 3 other couples, Rafael took us through a very well thought through process to taste 3 white and 3 red Portuguese wines all fantastic by the way) educating us through the journey on how to taste, how to read a label and how to pair with food. I learnt a lot from Rafael and was able to use it the following night when out eating in Porto in a way I wouldn’t have before. Small, very personal tasting session that was highly educational and fun. Highly recommended."

"We were blind pages when we arrived, and we are told that we did not choose the blind emotion menu, which is what we booked a month in advance. Apparently, the Fork site does not allow any specification of the experience they are looking for. at the arrival we sat in the gastrobar. at this time only a few more were served. we asked if they would allow us to still have the emotion menu, but they said that would not be possible because they needed 24h note. they then told us that this happened many times and they complained at fork, but nothing could be done. how would it be to change the restaurant description only to include the problem and recommend that the patrons call to specify what they are looking for. the menu was not inspired, but I have to admit that eating was delicious. also the drinks lacked an aspekt of cocktails. only the bases were present and even they were either saccharine sweet or tasteless. the experience was not special, the atmosphere was sedate and forgotten. it seems that the property is blind to what today's restaurant goers are looking for in a culinary experience."
