"Visited last Wednesday and can’t wait to return. Amazing little business. We had a pain au chocolate, a cinnamon twist and a sourdough baguette. Honestly amazing! Coffee was good too :"

"I’ve had to rate 1 star for everything as I was not allowed to eat inside with the dog. I understand if the restaurant chooses this but surely the pub attached could have a dog friendly table or two. Very disappointed so walked to the Ardshiel hotel and was welcomed with the dog. Fab food too! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Last stay in the hotel due to the work. the personal and the atmosphere in the spaces are so welcoming and friendly! eating is phenomenal. I stayed behind the sea house, which is part of the hotel. beautiful large rooms with private bathroom. highly recommended."

"Really enjoyed the food and the whole atmosphere. Lovely inside. Can’t understand the negative reviews. We didn’t experience any of what has been written. It was busy when we arrived and we were patient and were served in a decent time. Lovely Venison Burger. We also had both out dogs with its and it wasn’t an issue. Also other dogs in the pub and all welcomed. Price per person: £10–20"

"This is a well frequented Chinese restaurant but the food is hit and miss . There is a particular nasty generic brown sauce that seems to pervade in most dishes . There are good dishes but the decor needs addressing they could do so much...better and offer better Chinese food they need to modernise and not take the customer for granted. They are up against some really good food choices in Campbeltown Chinese food is a favourite of most British people so give us the best of it not what you imagine we like."

"I had one of the most amazing seafood meals ever and super value for money. To start langoustines then crab claws (lots), a bottle of Prosecco. Hubby chicken goujons then scallops plus salad chips and bread. Lovely ambiance, all the locals drinking, eating and chatting , really nice server . Definitely the place to eat in Port Charlotte."
