What Chev Chelios doesn't like about China Palace Chinese Takeaway:
Ordered salt chilli chicken and chips last night and my partner ordered special fried rice I was vomiting , sweats and shakes at around midnight after eating. "I have lunch in small talk frequently and I’m used to it being busy . Today was no exception . However the attitude of the waitering staff has definitely gone down hill . Firstly when asked to stand out side we stood on the apparently) wrong side and my partner and I were ordered like cattle to stand on the other side . We dutifully stood for 10 mins waiting for a table . Soon the window table became available and my partner asked if we could sit here . At this point a part of 3 or 4 had arrived and my partner was rudely told ‘no you can wait for a table that sits 2 to become available’ The larger party were then taken before us and we were left to stand outside . Now I know small talk and I know just how small the ‘small’ 2 seater tables are . My partner is a large guy larger people are more comfortable at larger tables ! Anyway at this point we felt rather annoyed and choose to leave . I do understand that establishments want to maximise their profits and have maximum numbers per tables however if his doesn’t give them cart blanche to be rude and totally revoke a request for a table . It’s a shame that they are employing staff with these attitudes as the food is always first class ."
