Unfortunately, the partially unhelpful and/or overwhelmed service has not always been able to meet their high level. highly recommended - the Fenchel-Orangen soup as well as the fish dishes we have tried (loup de mer with a delicious brandadenpüree as well as fried winter towjau). small critique: the somewhat too luxuriant seeing consumption at the suppenas as well as the aromen overtoning sharpness (pfeffer.)? great the very extensive and very well assembled wine card as well as the great offer of open weeping. we'll be back in any case!"

"Again and again super: The 4 burgers are well prepared. The meat is astrein, the ingredients immaculate. Each burger can be individually adapted to the taste. The actual highlight is the burger of the week. There are really sensational creations. Although not every weekburger is always something for everyone, these things are really great! At high operating times you need to bring some patience, but wait is worth it!"

"We have been here three times. It is a small restaurant and without a reservation, you will need to come immediately when it opens. We had the parmesan fettuccine Bandnudeln with fresh truffles and the veal scallopini with a mushroom cream sauce. Both were delicious...but might be a little rich for some diners. There were also several pasta and scallopini dishes with white wine sauce rather than creamy sauces. The chocolate souffle was more what I would call a lava cake than a souffle, but it was rich and flavorful. Wine list is small but good. The service was friendly and the pace of the meal was leisurely about hours for two of us to eat but not too slow. Very easy walking distance from the Hilton Mainz City"

"I always stop at Best Worscht when ever I am in Mainz. The worscht selection is great, then you can choose to kick it up with a number of different spice levels. The fries that come with the meal are crispy and fluffy inside. It...is a place to get a good hot meal quickly and it is always consistent. The other thing is the walk to get there is great and takes you deep into old town which is historic."
