Baron is located on the campus of the university and thus a bit far away if you are in the city of Mainz. For those who are on campus anyway it is a very good option though: They are the only place in Mainz which makes pizzas with vegan chesse; those are very tasty and quite cheap (depending on how many toppings you want about 6-7 EUR). they have really good vegan pizza and sometimes other vegan dishes on the weekly menu. compared to other places on campus, however, they are quite expensive. I just go to pizza. a (vegan) friend of mine told me that they served her an salat with yogurt dressing and a suppe with meat pieces in the inner. be careful and make it very clear that they are vegan.
