Firstly, it is important to note that while the outlet offers many other snacks, in this review we only talk about JALANGKOTE. It's a must to try the afternoon snack. The Jalangkote is well known and loved by locals and visitors. It is delicious, crisp, with generous fillings. Not to eat, this place mainly sells snack for takeaway. 3 stars enough for it..Jalangkote is one of signature traditional snack/cake of Makassar. The dough is fried and filled with vermicelli, bean sprouts, and egg. I like MudaMudi's jalangkote way better, the kiosk is only 2 kiosks away from J&L Lasinrang. Taste so good and always have 3 pcs at one time hehehe. Nothing can beat it even pastel from Makcik in Jakarta : #imho.
