Absolutely fantastic. In Melaka for two nights, and returned here for supper on both nights. Kelvin, the expert sommelier was superbly friendly, helpful, and a delight to speak to. Carl, the chef is amazing; the hokkien mee and loh shi fun were the best we have had, and better than anything we have had in KL, where we are from (i.e., generous amounts of pork lard, deshelled prawns, great taste, etc. Additionally, it... We came here because it’s next to where we were staying (LiuMen Hotel) and the reviews seemed promising. The place feels good but food was only so so: we tried a few things hokkien mee was good although it’s pricier than those in KL, salad was depressingly boring with store bought sauce (the chef could’ve whipped up something original), siew yok, salted egg squid and salmon were just ok, and lastly, I’ve never had su...
