A rainy Friday lunchtime found us in the Plaza Mayor. We've been resident in Spain for over six years and our food preferences are now very much of the traditional Spanish variety and this restaurant is a magnificent example of that genre. We opted for the menu del dia and after a potage of cod and vegetables I settled for the fried cod with patatas pobre and tomato frito both of which proved to be excellent choices.... It makes us think that we are in that family home that we always like to go and share with the hosts and therefore, it is totally what surrounds you and takes you with you.
