"This popular coffee shop is on the corner of the busy main road in Atherton. As such it attracts a lot of customers for its yummy cakes and pastries, including devonshire tea and slices of various kinds. as much as its art, displayed all around the walls. Curiously there are also books available for purchase but they all seemed second hand so it is very much a community hub. The service can be a little slow at times given the traffic and indoor and outdoor dining is on offer, but it offered sanctuary from busy mornings in town or on the road! We greatly enjoyed our sojourn there!"

"We decided on a whim to take advantage of the wet weather to do the waterfall circuit on the southern half of Atherton Tablelands. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food was all freshly prepared with good size serves. The pies / sausage rolls and quiches are all freshly made on site, which is a nice change. The café is tucked in to the little commercial centre just down from the start of the waterfall circuit. There is plenty of parking on the street."

"Great pies, great service and a must stop on your waterfall circuit tour. We made the short detour to Malanda bakery to give our international guests a proper Aussie meatpie experience. All the review are right, the pies here are amongst the best this Aussie has ever had and provided a perfect reflection of Aussie hospitality."
