Healy Mac's Irish Bar Restaurant

Terribly rude service from their waitress. This is my second time visiting healy Mac Jalan P Ramlee. We had a great time and good service during our first visit thus we had decided to be back again for our Xmas Eve. Unfortunately it turned out to be disastrous due to their extremely rude waitress. Her bad confrontational attitude coupled with her sour face simply spoiled our night. We complaint to her manager and he apologized. He even said we are not the first person to complain about her. Then why still keep her in your restaurant? Because of her we will NEVER support Healy Mac anymore plus we will not recommend to any of our circles.

My husband and I stopped for a few drinks for the evening. They had strongbow on draft which always taste the best that way. Other beers include Tiger (my favorite), Heineken, etc The prices for drinks were quite pricy even with the exchange rate compared to a few other local places we had seen. A pint was about 8-9 US dollars. The bartenders and waitstaff were friendly. We didn't get any food but at the bar they do give you some peanuts to munch on. The bar area was excellent for people on the street and also within the bar area.

Just an update the music is my only concern. Sometimes it's lively and befitting an Irish pub, other times it sounds like they're trying to put everyone to sleep, which doesn't work for me. Even at the latter times, the people remain excellent and the food very good, so I expect that I'll keep going...but how long I stay or how often I feel like returning will definitely be affected by the music I hear as I wander past.

Visited this place last night and this place has got some good vibes and good music. The brunches we ate were freaking delicious and they would even play your song on request. The staff were very polite and service was on top, no regrets visiting this place. This place is near our hotel Fraser Place.

Just spent 5 nights in KL and loved this bar all the staff are lovely and not pushy like some of the other bars, Farid is a great server and a nice guy, really good at his job . Good music and food, really chilled. Thanks guys.
