"Good welcome, we are placed on a small table next to the fountain, very nice, we choose a tartare with homemade fries, salad, and a plate of bougnat, with salad, truffade, rosette, butter, country ham, country terrine, and big piece of cantal. "We stayed for one night at the starting point of our 8-day hike on the GR400. Owner's approach a little gruff but pleasant over time and conversation. Nothing to complain about in terms of the room, clean, comfortable with a certain charm. On the restaurant side, pleasant and professional waitress, we ate well and the same breakfast (a little chilly in the morning in the breakfast room). In conclusion, a pleasant little stay. "Visited this restaurant on Saturday 20th Feb as a group of 8 following a great skiing holiday in Le Lioran. The staff were very welcoming and were very friendly with us all, particularly with our children with who they were genuinely happy to speak to. The menu is very much geared towards typically French foods with a few familiar favourites, this was expected as they resort is not aimed at other nationalities which and is something we are aware of. The food was quick and well cooked as requested. The restaurant is on 2 levels and we were downstairs, as the place was full it made for a great atmosphere where we didn't have to be worried about making noise and having a laugh. Only criticism would be to have a slightly larger selection for children. Overall a very nice evening with friends in a resort we will revisit next year."
