"We visited Malvasia whilst staying in Vulcano for one night during a tour of the Aeolian islands. It was a bit of a walk to get to from where we were staying, but the setting and design of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and has a much classier look and feel than many that were closer to the island’s port. I ate one of the Pane Cunzato dishes, with buffalo mozzarella, basil and achovies. This was simple but very tasty food with quality ingredients, at a pretty cheap price (13 euros) especially given the size of the dish. My partner had the fish of the day, the Amberjack (I forget the Italian translation) which was 25 euros, but well worth the price as it was absolutely glorious one of the tastiest things we ate whilst in the islands. They have a good wine selection, including Dry Malvasia wine (recommended) and also several craft regional beers. Definitely warrants it’s high rating a cut above the average Aeolian restaurant in every aspect. Our meal there will be a really special memory."
