"Following our instinct, after a pilgrimage to the sanctuary of the blessed virgin in Montevecchia, we opted for this cosy restaurant. A nearly anonymous facade leads into an elegant dining room with professional and attentive staff. Inspite of the hot weather we opted for the porch with a panoramic view of Brianza and the skyline of Milano. We had potato dumplings with Montevecchia cheese, oven baked suckling pig with curry spiced apples and vegetables. We concluded with orange flavoured brule' cream and apple tart (strudel) with vanilla ice cream. Rich but average prices for the wine list. We'll definitely be back for their delicious revisitations of traditional dishes."
