I frequently pass by this restaurant at Paddington Central but never had the chance to actually visit until today. It's a lovely brunch place and an even lovelier cocktail spot in the summer. While the brunch menu is limited to a few choices, the options are all great and soulfully prepared. I had the French toast which smelled delicious even as it was being brought to our table. "I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. I ordered online and was given a collection time of 6pm. I was there to collect at 6pm and had to wait half an hour for the food. I understand that if it’s busy then food can take longer but they had my phone number and email so they could have told me. They weren’t apologetic and if anything, they seemed surprised that I was unhappy. Foolishly I didn’t ask them to check the order before I left. I got home to discover that one of the items ordered was missing and the samosas were meat instead of veg. It was actually the worst takeaway experience I’ve ever had."
