V's Restaurant Bar - Malibu

This is going to be as honest as it can get as far as reviews go. I came here for the first time about a month ago and didn't have the best experience. I reached out to them and they urged me to come back and give them a second chance. I was hesitant but I came back tonight and brought just about the most critical person with me. THEY COMPLETELY REDEEMED THEMSELVES. Food is a work in progress, but still knocks every comparable place out of the park. Thx V

I went to V's for lunch, and it was nothing short of amazing! First off, the owner and the staff are all incredibly kind, and I even got to meet some incredibly kind patrons as well. The atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming. I started my first, of what will be many visits, with the dry aged burger and fries, and I was upset the next day when I wasn't in Malibu and couldn't readily have it again. The selection of foods are inviting inticing, rich in flavor, and beautiful in presentation. I can't wait to try more of their selection!! Don't hesitate to drop in and experience V's for yourself!!

The service was quite rude. I came in with some friends and we sat on the bar and got dirty look. they were not happy we were there. I don't know why. the drinks were quite expensive. then my friend tried to kiss me. that was bbadoo. then a girl fired her scary as she wore him. they didn't seem to think at all, but our inestimacy was a burden on this bartender. Maybe it was because of my short stature. who knows. the bartener’s becher ora mocks me to this day. very strange place despite the beautiful atmosphere.

I’ve been here over 5 times BEST food in Malibu. Don’t let the lack of beach views make you miss out on this place. The food and service is SPECACULAR!I first tried this place in September 2020 for some appetizers before my *actual* birthday dinner at Geoffery’s down PCH. While Geoffrey’s basically ignored us, didn’t get our orders right, and made us feel less than special V’s went above and beyond even though we only had appetizers there. Their waiters are so kind and caring, the food is AMAZING, and they brought out sparklers for me when my friends mentioned it was my birthday.Since then I’ve been back several times, sometimes solo, sometimes with my bf or dog (very dog friendly) they have always made me feel so taken care of and special. It’s sad that some people would write this place off because they don’t have beach views despite the food and experience being far superior! The mushroom tagliatelle is to die for! I’ve dined all over Malibu Nobu, Malibu Farm, Geoffrey’s, Duke’s, among a bunch of others I can’t think of right now. And this place is the best.
