I quite like this pub, the staff are friendly, and usually the atmospher is good. However, after my sister in law was bitten in the face by an alsation belonging to a customer here, and the manager refused to take effective action i.e. asking them to remove the dog in what is a supposedly child friendly pub) and the subsequent inaction and inability to chase this up, my opinion has changed. "I called here for lunch with my mother. what a great place! decor is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and the eating is absolutely delicious and very cheap. very good menu selection. only a thought- my mother (she is 92) would always go for suppe as a midday selection, so it would be nice to see on the menu. we will definitely come back!"
