Stopped into this bistro on a whim. So glad we did. Excellent, excellent food. We had the pork chop, burger and a side of fries. The fries were excellent, crispy and fresh. The burger was juicy and very flavorful. The aioli was very light but delicious. But the pork chop was the clear star of the night. So tender and juicy and the sauce its served with was delicious. Overall, the food, atmosphere, drinks and service... View all feedback.
What Iman Abouzeid doesn't like about Osprey Bistro:
The chef owner) was very friendly and ambiance was good. He was kind to the kids and got them Colors, books and drawing material. He also showed them how to pick the bones and cut the Salmon.Reason for the 3 stars not five are:1-Salmon was a farmed salmon, not sure if fresh or defrosted.2- No prices shown or told to us.3-Fries were partially burned.4-Extremely expensive for 4 sandwiches of farmed salmon! And two bowls... View all feedback.
Very casual hip atmosphere. Laid back chatty chef who had nice service attitude, good food. My husband really enjoyed the grilled eggplant. My burrito was solid, love the chorizo (but personally but too much potato for my taste) but he gave me jalapeño and tomatillo sauce on the side per my request.
We absolutely adore this place. From the view into the kitchen, friendly staff, and good lord, the food and drinks are so good. My husband and I don't come here nearly enough, but every time we do, we remark on what a great experience we had. Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The seating is cozy and quiet, when music is playing it's almost always something interesting and pleasant. The menu is fresh and creative. The staff have always been accommodating to our food allergies, especially dairy-free and gluten-free options. Perfect for a casual date or meeting a friend for coffee.

What a great spot. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly and personable owner. Amazing food. You can tell they source fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back.
Never got food. Never even offered a menu. We walked in and someone appeared to be working on the cash register to fix it. We waited about 5 minutes to figure out what to do. During this time, nobody greeted us besides a beautiful dog (the highlight of the visit, five stars to the dog) that came over from who we thought was a patron. They turned out to be the owner Shane and his employees or friends? We couldn 't tell what was going on. Finally Shane got up from his table and said 'I like to run the place like we are all hanging out at my place. ' He was clearly drunk/trashed and possibly high. He informed us he lived in Burien and let us sit down. Then he left us with no menu and no information for how we were supposed to order. Not even a water cup. We waited a few minutes and the open kitchen filled with smoke. They didn 't have the hood fans on. A couple at the end of the room looked confused about the whole experience as well. We ended up leaving after about 10 minutes of confusion, tension, and smoke. I wish we could have tried the food since most reviews are good. Maybe order online and eat at home? Also the owner was petting the dog and then going into the kitchen and touching stuff without washing his hands. So maybe don 't go.... Such an uncomfortable experience.
