"Called in here today after a long walk, initially just for a drink but stayed for Sunday lunch and it was outstanding. The owners were friendly, chatty and very helpful. "Visited based on online reviews, but they are a bit out dated so wanted to say that the food is still fantastic, the staff are friendly and the pricing is very reasonable. I enjoyed duck to start, followed by chicken supreme and finished with a perfect chocolate fondant (worth the extra wait). My husband had pork belly, steak and crème brulé. One of the best meals out we've had in years. The little touches (homemade fudge with the Irish coffee, homemade chocolates with the bill and fresh bread and tapenade to keep us going while our food was freshly prepared are what made it extra special. Honestly fantastic and highly recommended. Will definitely be back."
