I was staying near The Den last week and managed two visits during the course of my stay because it was so good! Very warm welcome with delicious food and drinks. Cosy sofas to sit on and outside seating for when the sun is shining. The only thing I didn't try were the cakes, because I'm not eating sugar at the mo, but they looked divine! What Carole Kennedy doesn't like about The Bridge:
Friendly pub BUT stars for the simple reason, everyone was crammed in . Decor needs looking at, the interior looks sooo tired and dated that it makes it look grubby sadly. Food was OK, but slightly cold and seeing the chefs squeeze their way...through the busy bar with trays of food was kind of off putting as at one stage the Cauliflower cheese was almost knocked out of his hands.
