"We were trying to get into the cafe opposite as it had tables in the sun, and it wasn’t immediately obvious where the entrance to the Almshouse is (10 yards down street). The outside seating doesn’t look as appealing as it’s neighbor but once inside it’s a different story. A really nice menu with an excellent selection of cakes and sandwiches and great coffee, served by friendly staff. The Almshouse itself is really pretty inside, with a bookshop, and spiral staircase taking you to more seating. Next time we’re in Axbridge we’ll be heading straight there!"

"Lovely owner and fantastic food. Really obviously cared about making good quality food to satisfy our taste buds. We both had a lamb shish kebab which was delicious and definitely not stingey with the meat either! Would 100% recommend if you're in the area and fancy a kebab. Only place to go. "A special treat and always a high point of our stay in Bridgwater. Brilliant fish with superb chips. The customer throughput is large so the food is almost always fresh and tasty. We've never had anything other than superb meals."

"We’ve been to a couple of Yeo Supper Clubs recently and they’ve gone down really well with our guests. Not only has the food been top-notch and plentiful, the service is always second to none (very friendly but professional too). Can’t wait for our next visit."

"We live in france and haven't been back to the UK for 2 years anyway we decided to have a family getogether breen sands ordered a meal which was so delicious we all ordered another one 2 days later well worth the 2 year wait"
