"Not what I was expecting. Having done no research, I was expecting Short 's to be a small outfit with a few of their beers on tap and some basic pub food, but it turns out to be a really nice gastropub. The building is really nice and the place is cool. The food was surprisingly good if a little expensive, and the beer was of course, phenomenal but surprisingly on the cheaper side. Everyone is very nice and it 's a great place to be. The only weird thing is that the menu is Ween-inspired , but it 's tasty, so what can you do?"

"The food and wait staff was awesome..but the cook that apparently just got off shift was sitting at the bar..very loud dropping F-bombs and mother F'ers while a family with young children were trying to enjoy a Father's day meal. My husband politely went to the bar and told him to drop the f-bombs somewhere else. Our waitress kept apologizing and seemed very embarrassed."

"Just a great place to stop by and enjoy! Not a local establishment for me, but we all had the feeling like we had been a valued and repeated customer there for years! We stopped for dinner, enjoyed their whole small town charm and ended up staying for almost three hours! The staff....they were the reason why, they were so friendly, talkative, and you could tell they loved their jobs! Each of us ordered different items from the menu-everyone was very pleased! Hats off to you Kal-Ho!"
