Foodies of northern Michigan rejoice! My family and I visited from out of town on 4th of July weekend this year, and the Cook's House definitely stood out

"Amazing spot! Great food and service! The overall vibe was chill and friendly. We will be back! The venue had a standing room, and a lot of sit down areas. The bar is small, but lively. The only down was they charged for any sauce marinara, ranch, hour sauce, etc. Not ideal at all... iced tea was great!!"

"Came here for a late lunch with my mom during the off season, so it was really quiet. Everything on the menu looked great. I got one of the $7 lunch specials, half an order of Sharon's bread and a half size Greek salad. Didn't enjoy the salad, but that was my fault. I forgot I don't like black olives, and I forgot to ask for no onions, so I didn't eat much of it because even after removing the onions it still tasted like onion. Also, it was HUGE. I can't even fathom what a whole salad would look like. Next time, I want to try the pizza sticks. Our server was awesome. She brought my mom a new straw with her to go drink, because she recognized that paper straws turn to mush when you put them in liquid. That was a nice thought."

"Just a great place to stop by and enjoy! Not a local establishment for me, but we all had the feeling like we had been a valued and repeated customer there for years! We stopped for dinner, enjoyed their whole small town charm and ended up staying for almost three hours! The staff....they were the reason why, they were so friendly, talkative, and you could tell they loved their jobs! Each of us ordered different items from the menu-everyone was very pleased! Hats off to you Kal-Ho!"
