"What a treasure of a restaurant! If you're in the area, book right away!!! You won't want to miss their amazing food. We were greeted by the owner and within a few minutes of sitting down, we were fast friends. Her hubby, the chef, came out and chatted as well. Everything we ordered was outstanding, especially the mango souffle dessert....you've never tasted anything like it. The max stars we can give here is 5, but I'd give it 10!!!!"

"I don't exaggerate by saying that this is my favorite restaurant at all times. There are absolutely no details that will be overlooked during preparation, presentation and service of SoLo's food creations. We have eaten every bite from the house butter and freshly baked rolls to complex entrées and delicious desserts. Where else have you served your carefully selected fresh oysters with a fried onion granite that you could just eat with a spoon? Bacon's wrapped rabbit food served on Celeriac coffee infused logs, accompanied by celery pure clogs was not only one of the most delicate and tasteful dishes, but also looked like an artwork. Her homemade cucumbers Habanero Minze Sorbet seemed designed by someone who exactly the aroma release of each ingredient in a 's mouth....not amazingly short! A dinner at SoLo 's is a must for everyone who can appreciate the state of art food. Bravo!"

"Really enjoyed my meal here! The ambience outside and inside is cozy and quaint. It is a but dark inside at night, so if you have trouble reading menus in low light, bust out your flashlight. I had the braised beef ravioli, and it was delicious! The cream sauce was just the right amount. The root veggies were roasted perfectly, and the cripsy parsnips on top were a nice touch. "Great food, unique flavorful menu items, not typical run of the mill selection. My daughter had the Filet au Poivre medium, and I had Seared chicken breast. It took a bit of time, however, both dishes came prepared just right, juicy and flavorful. Clearly they were not microwaved and the person cooking them knew what they were doing. As for prices, they are not cheap, but par for the course considering typical higher end resort prices for everything. I can say that food didn't disappoint and the service was spot on."

"After I had the honor of working under the direction of Dana at Mistral, I was eating there before I worked there. If I should be asked what I think of Mistral, I must say the best romantic restaurant for two who are in love, I know that only the best ingredients are used and that is very obvious in the artistry of the plate both visually and in the pallet. The food is guided with passion by a dedicated team, led by one in my opinion the best cook for which I know and had the pleasure of working, thanks Dana I learned invaluable knowledge of you. I also know that the eclectic wine list is personally selected from a variety of fine French wines, each connoisseur would be spoiled for choice. The service is excellent and attentive, I understand that the interior has been updated since my last one, but if I know the owners of this facility, it can only be of the best. If I were to judge this as one of the best restaurants in the world, my answer would be a sounding yes, and as a chef who worked and ate in many restaurants in Europe, South Africa and the USA, my answer would remain. The food at Mistral is a culinary experience."

"The Dorset Inn is the perfect quintessential Vermont B&B. The rooms are sweet and comfortable, the food is delicious, and the staff is SO nice and accommodating. My husband and I have enjoyed the restaurant here for years and have enjoyed staying here as well the last few times we've visited. Highly recommend!"
