Met friends for lunch under the impression that "specials" available. Apparently not. Another group of 6 arrived shortly after us with same impression - all of us must be wrong?! They left. Restaurant never busy so pity to have let that group walk away and spend their money in someone else's restaurant . That said, service was great- 2 young men who were friendly and attentive. It was a cold wet Saturday night but they surely made up for it with the most Fabulous food that was so well presented like a five star hotel restaurant, we were all so very impressed with our meals from starters, main, deserts cocktails, coffees, Irish -Kailua coffees and excellent service all evening !We will be back soon
Salt, since opening, has fast became our "go to" restaurant, for any meal of the day.LOVE brunch there, and lunch and dinner stack up just as well.Menu is great, staff are lovely, coffee is great and the food is always perfect.Love it in there
Popped in today for a bite to eat , 2 of us went for Sunday roast deal which is $20 or $25 if you have a desert ( remember that bit ) and also one lamb shank from normal menu .So called a member of staff over to place order as felt we could have just sat there for ages otherwise .So ordered the 3 mains and a couple of drinks but not any deserts fine. Drinks take a while to come out but finally we get them (Lots of staff but they don't seem to be doing a great deal ) Food comes out and all agree very nice then ordered another small wine and wait another 10 mins before chasing them up for it and then a young lady says sorry and hurrys away to get wine hooray .Then ask for dessert menu as 2 of us fancy a bit more tucker guess what another **** wait until someone is called over by my hubby to order the desserts. Desserts come and there very nice .Meal has been fine but Christ is been hard work to get it. Hubby pays bill come back and I reckon he's been overcharged so he goes back and queries the bill which they then print off in full... desserts $23 not $10 which they explain is because those are not the desserts on the roast offer which just says desserts and has no description of what is is ( so how the hell were we sposed to know that god only knows) they say sorry and that some one should have told you when placing order YOU RECKON. then on the bill is the biggest insult a 10% service charge which I didn't see on the menu PLEASE LOOK HARD FOR IT as couldn't find it anywhere and find it really hard to call that SERVICE it was a **** joke, shame as food was nice but will not be on my list of restaurant's to return to as feel they were a little sly with those charges most of staff didn't have a scooby do.
So comfortable and roomy inside. Lovely atmosphere/ambience. Great food, well presented, cooked by chefs. Accommodating staff. .

We ordered lamb shanks and seafood platter for 2 people to share. Both dishes were excellent, great portion sizes and small but nice wine list. Atmosphere is non-existent but think this is because it is so quiet . You really need to do weekend specials and think how to get people in! Restaurant has potential
