Sri Yoga Narasimha Temple - Mandya

Very nice temple, need to climb some 100 steep steps.. monkeys are there

About 200 steps to the top. The murthy looks magnificent. The temple tank is huge with beautifully arranged steps on all 4 sides. For elderly people one third of the climb can be eliminated as vehicles up to a certain point.

Historic centuries old temple, well maintained and looks very special. Must visit. Narasimha swamy looks very special. Had to climb 50steps after last stop of vehicle. You can Sit outside after darshanam, and enjoy the view with cool breeze for sometime.

Post the dip in Kalyani below you need to walk up the steps to this temple. There are around 250 odd steps to reach the top. It is a bit odd steps and as such is tricky for older people. Irrespective, overall it is tricky to walk up and down these stairs!! Again you will get enough opportunities to take pictures and videos! You get a very good view and soak in the enormity of the Kalyani below. You also get to see the whole temple town from here. It was not crowded and we could finish the darshan fast. Please be aware of the monkeys here they are everywhere and keep attacking people with bags or plastic covers. Great views from here soak in the whole temple town from here

Climbing near to God is beautiful. But those monkeys, oh my God, they didn't have little fear, they just jump and pick your cover (not bag) from your hand. I don't know, what government is doing in this regard. Monkeys are really intolerable in this place.
