"I was referred by a friend in Grand Rapids who grew up in Manistee, so I went way out of my way to try an Al's special with sub sauce and extra sauce. It was amazing. Well worth the drive."

"Visiting my dad from Texas, he said one of his favorite places to eat. We can see why, the broasted chicken was delicious. Fantastic sides. Hardest part was choosing from the diverse menu. "We came in about 20 minutes before close, desperate for a place to eat. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, and our takeout was ready quickly! Everything the four of us ordered was DELICIOUS, plus they gave us lots of chips. Great prices for the portion. This place may not look like much, but the great service and food cannot be beat. "We stopped here on our way home and was pleasantly surprised by one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The dishes tasted better than they looked. The laid back high end atmosphere was only made better by the exceptional service. I can't wait to stop in again the next time we are in town."

"AMAZING food! Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, it's ALL amazing n fairly priced! We had breakfast there n it was only $8.99 for the breakfast I got, which was pancakes, eggs, sausage n toast. There was so much food, I had to take some of my pancakes home everything was hot n fresh off the griddle, server was very friendly n checked in on us to make sure everything was good. I absolutely love this place! It's so cozy feeling, I just love it!"
