All reviews for The Wooden Ladle located at KZ Gaz from all websites. The restaurant offers good food (4 stars) and is one of the best restaurants in Maniwaki.

Food was bland and overly salty. Staff were forgetful. Everything on the plate was a shade if brown or beige except the tiniest slice of tomato.

Great neighborhood brasserie I come here for escargot after walking the dog at Lac Daumesnil.

Loved this place! Our waiter was fabulousEven though we speak very little french, he was quite nice and helpful.

All their meals are homemade and fresh. Try the special of the day. All their homemade sandwichs are great!

"Like the title says, its average, in a mall, lots of parking, and some of the selections are good, its pub food so don't expect haute-cuisine, but everything is very edible. service was good and if anything server was very congenial, a bit on the...pricey side for the food but service was fast and place looks well kept, although it can be very noisy at times."

"For a special meal out we took some visiting family members to l'Huile d'Olive for dinner because the food is always delicious. The weather was perfect to sit out on the deck to eat. We began with a bottle of Chianti which was very nice. My husband started with the soup of the day followed by chicken parmesan with spaghetti and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Our daughter had a large Cesar salad with shrimp au gratin in garlic sauce that she said was fantastic. Our grandson very much enjoyed the linguini and meatballs. I had the lamb shank which I could not pass up since I have had it before and it is truly wonderful. We considered having dessert but were pleasantly full so ended up having their delicious coffee. Dining at this restaurant with its wonderful view, delicious food and great wines once experienced will bring you back again and again.. The staff are always pleasant and knowledgeable and very attentive."
