Exactly what you need after a full day at the snow! We all had a plate of pasta. Serving generous and food is good. Service is friendly. They did forget our drinks order but this was rectified. Overall good place for a nice dinner in a cosy environment! View all feedback.

"Great pub with excellent food and atmosphere. Steak was amazing. The beer garden overlooks the lake, so it gets very busy in peak season. Staff handle the crowds well. Motel rooms are good too an hours drive to Buller."

"Can not recommend going if you are vegetarian or vegan the menu seems changed since the previous Happycow review and there are no vegan burgers now for dinner service on 7th. August 2022 there were 1 (a) vegan or vegetarian head of “Vegan Spicy Mapo Tofu” on the menu that openly terrible and absolutely not worth $28. Some tasty silk tofu on jasmine rice with a slightly damped veg is not Mapo Tofu and the dish was not even lightly spicy. Service was friendly and attentive, but I would never return here unless the menu is completely revised. There was not much of a pub vibe in the facility where we sit either a too brightly illuminated high ceiling space with tile floors and many hard surfaces. Not all the country pub we were hoping for.
