"I visited two veranda sites because I went to the rehearsals a few coffee shops in the opposite. the great thing about the two places is that I could test how consistent they are! I found that the coffee was good at both places! and I ordered the same drink and she lubricated it. That was pretty cool. they have good systems to deliver their products. beautiful personal, easy to find and park, all in all worth for coffee!"

"Avenue Waterfront Grille is a great restaurant to visit the outdoor banks. It is located in downtown Manteo on the shore and has a magnificent view of the Shallow Bag Bay. Your service is great as well as your food. I was often in this restaurant and had a great experience every time I visited. They sometimes have live music outside on the deck and this is very pleasant. The host staff is extremely friendly and often checks for you how to eat to make sure everything goes well during your dinner. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice local dinner for the Outer Banks or if you just want to have a few drinks with friends at the bar and see a sports game."

"Always an excellent choice in Manteo for a good sandwich. The owners and staff are all amazing even when it is really busy. It's a small spot to order so it is best for large parties to have a designated person take the order for everyone or phone/online orders always work too. The specialty sandwiches never disappoint, my favorite is the angry bird."

"We were looking for food to eat quickly before we visited the aquarium, but we did not want fast food. This was the perfect fit! The staff were very nice in explaining the Peruvian foods. The food came out quick and was delicious. Definitely recommend stopping here! It is a hidden gem in the outerbanks and could be easily passed if you do not know where it is. We found it from Google maps on a whim. The portions are great too! You can order lunch and have enough for dinner at a reasonable price. "Great spot for a fast slice or a whole pie. We enjoyed a slice of cheese and a slice of Supreme with a glass root beer to share.. Nice crisp with a light italian taste.. just the right amount of sauce and a nice pull of cheese.. I haven't had whitepizza in years, I'm talkin over 15 lol so I had to leave with a whole 14inch pie to go.. will definitely stop in next time Ipass through.. Grazie!"

"I have been a fan of Duck Donuts since there was only a single location. The donuts have changed a little, but the experience has changed a lot! Not a quaint, small town outing anymore. I really hope they turn off on-line ordering during the summer months because no one likes waiting in line for 20 minutes only to have an on-line order for 2 dozen donuts cut in front of you! I refuse to go to any of the franchise locations; I save the experience for vacations at OBX."
