Boss took me here for lunch as I am in town on business. Said it is one of his favorites and I now know why. I love me some deli sandwiches, slaw, pickles, and just smoked meat of any kind. It’s never open. How can you run a successful business when customers never know when you’re open. I think it’s now permanently closed which sucks.

"Mamajoun is a place I've wanted to try since they first opened. I finally got around to it!The place is part restaurant, offering Armenian pizzas and more, and part grocery store. Offerings include preserved meats and preserved fruits (jams) of all types.Our meal started with an order of Mante (beef dumplings). It was served in a tomato sauce with yogurt and spices. It was a great way to start our meal. Other choices included the Papajoun and the Armenian Pizza, both suggested by Mirhan and both delicious.The Papajoun was a flatbread pizza with ground beef, spices, and a red pepper paste. We added some hot peppers. It was folded and toasted, giving it a nice texture. Yummy!The Armenian Pizza was topped with soujouk (an Armenian sausage), beef, onions, tomato sauce, and cheese.
