"My friend and I were craving fish and chips and I remembered that someone had said they do fish here so we tried it. We went in to order and it was a steady stream of people coming to order and pick up their orders and this was on a Wednesday. We bother ordered the 1 piece cod with the Cajun fries and my friend also ordered 2 pieces of chicken. We took it home and the fish was so flaky and not greasy and there were a ton of fries in the box. They had given up and extra piece of chicken which he said was a little greasy but very good. We will be ordering from here again."

"Humble Roots is a beautiful place on so many levels! The food is amazing! There is something for everyone. It’s delicious and unique and quite clear that they love what they do! My husband and I are both vegans and absolutely in love with the yam fry poutine and the seitan loaf. The gravy is the best and it’s mushroom-based. We usually go for dinner, which they offer Thursday-Saturday evenings. The brunch is lovely too. We love the hungry horseman, the classic breakfast, and their lattes are excellent too. The Dream Bar is so good! It’s a vegan and gf bar with chocolate, caramel and a vegan base. It gets very busy for brunch, especially on the weekends. After going, it’s easy to see why. On top of the food being amazing, it is also in the perfect location across from a horse ranch. Tyler, the owner, and all the chefs and servers, especially Yvonne, are so warm, genuine, friendly, and welcoming. We had a wedding of 45 people there on Sunday, August 25, 2019 and they set the patio up so perfectly! They did it all up vegan for us and made it such a special, memorable day. We feel so lucky to live close to such an awesome place. It is our go to place and everyone we’ve taken there has loved it too, vegans and non-vegans alike. I strongly recommend visiting if you haven’t already and quite positive you’ll want to go any chance you get. I would give it 5 stars, but this site only allows 4 if it’s not fully vegan. Given how accommodating Humble Roots has been for us and everything they’ve done, they definitely deserve full marks and exceed expectations."

"Fantastic customer service, however, the cinnamon bun I had was still a bit frozen in the middle even after being heated up.In addition the rest of our food wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. Possibly just an off day and I will update this post if the next time is better."
