Simple rustic pub at the caravan park. Called there on the way and weren't disappointed with their Sunday roast. Pork and turkey were juicy, cauliflower'n cheese full of flavour and proper Yorkshire pudding . Portions are big Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Adele Fox doesn't like about Cross Keys:
This is a lovely, relaxing country pub. I didn't try any food during my visit, but it was bustling, and the menu looked quite appealing. Be sure to check the opening hours, and you can enjoy sitting outside in this lovely weather. View all feedback.
Visited here today for tea lovely service beautiful food hubby had horseshoe gammon I had burger absolutely beautiful well done to the chef cooking at these temperatures
Stayed in caravan next to cross keys we had meals here very nice meals very nice staff
Good pub but could do with one or two afternoon openings.
Sunday dinner is already here a few times, and the deserts are great prices, as they can order up to 3 courses for about £15. the staff is very friendly and I would book badly if it really gets busy.
On Sunday, the restaurant was quite busy and they had stopped taking reservations due to being fully booked. We only wanted drinks, so we found a quiet area in the next room where two football matches were being shown. The staff was very friendly, and they even offered to set up the Newcastle game for my brother-in-law if we had stayed longer. I had a fantastic meal here last year, so I highly recommend visiting this place.
