"A recent turn around and a fresh menu has given this seaside establishment a great kick. The staff from the start were pleasant, informative and chatty. Even offering wine tasting! Good menu options offering local seafoods but not to many that you become overwhelmed. Hot chips and aioli are always a favourite. Gnocchi was lovely as was for the chicken and seafood soup. Soup could have been a little hotter. The garlic bread accompanied was delicious with a generous lathering of both garlic and butter. The surrounding are great for both dining in and outdoors. Desirable tables are located indoors by the windows above the water inlet. Plenty of parking however I suspect over the busy summer season this could change. Overall, reasonably priced delicious food served with smile. Keep it up!"

"Had an absolutely amazing experience here. We had chicken and bacon croquettes and the long board and a fondant dessert. Everything went well together, with different textures and powerful and delicious flavors our waiter was so lovely and kind, very patient and did amazing telling us the specials!"

"Incredible eating, friendly, relaxed atmosphere, did I mention the delicious eating? we had the blackback, the bark fillet, the duck and the tiramasu for the desert. everything was amazing. the truffle butter with the brot was a manifestation. but what our night really did was the service. All the workers were really warm and friendly, especially vicky, who made us feel that we were their best friends for life. would definitely recommend, definitiw will go back when we are in nelson."
