We are from out of town, but we were still welcomed. Definitely recommend their curly steak fries- absolutely delicious!

We order food to go so wr didnt spend time inside the bar, but it seemes like a fun place to be. Each worker we talked to was incredibly friendly and helpful.

"This hotel is quaint. Our room was small but very clean. It reminds me of a bed and breakfast, although the breakfast is very limited. The owner is really nice and even put a small refrigerator in our room for us. I like that it has a very rustic charm. Walkability: In the heart of downtown Maquoketa. "Prices great. Food great. Staff great! Huge plate of ribs that came with potatoes, shrimp, salad and dessert for 10.45! Turkey club was biggest I've ever seen and came with soup and not much extra to add cottage cheese! All for under 25 bucks (with 2 drinks)!"
