"This hotel is quaint. Our room was small but very clean. It reminds me of a bed and breakfast, although the breakfast is very limited. The owner is really nice and even put a small refrigerator in our room for us. I like that it has a very rustic charm. Walkability: In the heart of downtown Maquoketa. "I literally never had a better peasant omelet in my life. The pancakes were so delicious... And my husband said his skill was definitely five things he ever ate. I actually went there a few nights before this visit and had a reub, the best in history. The owners are super charming, the cook comes out and asked every table how old the meal was... And the waiters are super friendly. Very recommended!!"
