Had dinner here as it was across the road from where we were staying. It was a great choice. We ordered a shared meat dish which not only tasted good but was plentiful also. It was delicious. The staff were great. We speak very little...Spanish but communication was quite easy as they really wanted to help out and maybe some things were lost in translation but I felt really welcome. They were lovely. It was a casual relaxed atmosphere and a good price.

The Espigón 1 restaurant is a classic Mar del Plata, which 10 years ago when it was in front of the Atlas Theatre in Av. Luro, he was frequented by the casts that acted. Sorry, the food came. I'll follow. Okay, interval. I read negative reviews and, if they were ever true, the owners have taken the job of solving them. We really enjoy making dishes, although they are not complex. The photos correspond to vegetable ravioles, ricotta, merluza al roquefort and milanesa de ternera completa, with fries and eggs. We are talking about an average price per comensal of $400 (7 dollars including current drinks, such as soda and little renowned but satisfying wines (constant for me). You can get more if you pay. As I said, food does not come out for its complexity but for a touch they have, like attention. Come on, come on.
After reading several comments we decided to give him a chance and we did not regret it, we were already two times in a row and we thought we would return another one before returning to Buenos Aires. We try fish, pastas, paella and pots, portions made at the time and abundant. The owner has a phenomenon and the attention of cordial and professional staff. It is true that the place could be conditioned aesthetically a little better, but the bathrooms are impeccable and the details are minor on the roof or walls. The quality of the food or service is not completely subtracted. To have an idea, yesterday half a seafood saucepan and half paella, 4 liter beers approximately $1300.
