We held a late lunch after leaving the Dolphin Research Center. Our server, April, was the bomb!! She turned my wife to the menu. Encouraged her to try the catch. The fried Mahi was great and brilliant. I had the Peg Leg Pete Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious!! We enjoyed our conversation with April she was super cool. 36 minute wait for our food. Fish was very good (3.5-4 star), service is slllooooowwwww so don't be in a hurry.

"The tiki bar is right on the water so the view and the location is excellent. It is located inside the Tranquility Bay resort and it is upscale and fancy. The prices are very high and it might be worth it if you're a tourist staying at the resort. However, as a local i came in there to check it out and enjoy the scenery. The place is beautiful and well kept. But you will be paying double for the same things you can find just outside the resort. The service is friendly and they accept locals mixing in with the tourist crowd. Hats off to the hard working guys out there behind the bar. They mix some of the best frozen drinks I've ever tasted right there at TJ's tiki. And there's a bunch to choose from on the menu. Live music sometimes, i think mostly on weekend nights. It truly is a very tranquil place to enjoy your evening. Kid-friendliness: Tiki bar mixed with tables for outdoor dining near the beach. All ages welcome.
