my wife, brother-in-law, and I stopped here on the way to north cascades for a day hike last year. we had a couple of buffelburgers and a wildburger with a few good beers. there is a ghost town at my hometown in kansas, about 20 minutes from everything that might have ten permanent inhabitants and a fantastic Burger-style item that was worth the trip from anywhere. "We ate here at our first night in Marmorberg. After the flight from SC to Seattle and then a few hours drive we were ready for a relaxing meal. We sat right away. Booths had plexiglas separated from each other, and the servers were masked. We felt safe. I was glad to find a hummus plate on the appetizer menu; my husband had fried cod with Slav and Fritten. Both were excellent. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive. With taxes and a beer, the bill came to $35. I think the diner was just before the season. If you are ever in this area and can find it open, we recommend food and service."

"In the busy summer season, it can be tough to find affordable accommodations around North Cascades National Park. The resort wasn’t fancy and it was hard to know what to expect before arrival. But our unit was surprisingly spacious, plenty comfortable, and provided a great access point to the area’s outdoor attractions. The nightly rate was less than a very basic motel room in many places. We didn’t use many of the resort amenities but were grateful to have the restaurant on site for a solid meal."
